says to ~**Lady Diamond**~The Je: I purred to your touch and took the box and string and grinned a bit as I stayed silently at your side and nodded...Yes Mistress...I opened the lid and was met with the beautiful colors of the beads. fingers rolled through them and touched each one feeling the smoothness of each I started to slowly bead the design into the string, as I pulled a bit to put a hasp on it and then started with lacing 5 beads in a silver color and pulled the string through them back to the other side. and made a straight row. then I followed it with another few rows of silver and then started with weaving in a bit of a colorful design. making it look like waves of the Thassa in blues and greens and then slowly pulled it to a stop. looking through the box of beads as I pushed it out of the way peeking for the next color I wanted

"Yes, there is an excellent Inn in Minus, that is where I stayed when I arrived, there are also villas and cabins for rent if you would prefer to stay there instead of an Inn or are planning a longer stay."

I have met most of the citizens of Minus thus far and I can say that I have not met a single jeweler in the entire town, so I would say there would certainly be a need for your services." With the fact that I was in a central part of the town with my Metal Works and had tried to do some trading or business with every person that sold a good or service in the town I was quite confident of that fact. "Minus is quite the bustling town and there are several people of high castes, particularly women who would be interested in buying a nice piece of jewelry I would bet." I then considered something else, "I actually came to see you for a couple of things tonight, if you were interested in taking on a commission."

I enjoyed the forge but the heat was taking some getting used to. I picked up another string and put the small metal clasp upon the end and added bright yellow beads and then some oranges and followed it with reds before putting a single bright silver bead. I repeated the simple pattern that reminded me of a vivid sunset over the Voltai and touched the smooth orbs thoughtfully before continuing on the soothing work

I what I lacked in creativity I made up for in sheer willingness to work. "oh aye, for now I simply sweep the floors of his forge and make sure the fire in the furnace doesn't go out by feeding it with wood that the men keep in the woodpile but he'll begin showing me other things as well. One of the men from our home taught him his caste and now my owner has his own apprentice but I'll be able to learn smaller things that big man fingers aren't as deft at doing" I gave a soft laugh as I easily placed a few more beads upon the string in demonstration with a wink at you. ((BRB my dog beckons me, which means my owner is thinking naughty thoughts about me! LOL))

I do realize that the inside of the forge is too dirty for the fine work, but I have a small office in the back that you are also welcome to use, it is plain but furnished and clean." "Yes, there is an excellent Inn in Minus, that is where I stayed when I arrived, there are also villas and cabins for rent if you would prefer to stay there instead of an Inn or are planning a longer stay."

I have met most of the citizens of Minus thus far and I can say that I have not met a single jeweler in the entire town, so I would say there would certainly be a need for your services." With the fact that I was in a central part of the town with my Metal Works and had tried to do some trading or business with every person that sold a good or service in the town I was quite confident of that fact. "Minus is quite the bustling town and there are several people of high castes, particularly women who would be interested in buying a nice piece of jewelry I would bet." I enjoyed the forge but the heat was taking some getting used to. I picked up another string and put the small metal clasp upon the end and added bright yellow beads and then some oranges and followed it with reds before putting a single bright silver bead. I repeated the simple pattern that reminded me of a vivid sunset over the Voltai and touched the smooth orbs thoughtfully before continuing on the soothing work

I have done many things when I was in the North. this is so far the simpliest of jobs I have done...it was certainly one of the most enjoyable. it did not require a hard day's labor, but it was fun none the less as I continued to string on the colored beads of purple and gold, making the v pattern and then weaving it back out. slowly the fingers worked over the string and tied them proplly working back through the opposite direction...are you having fun?

I what I lacked in creativity I made up for in sheer willingness to work. "oh aye, for now I simply sweep the floors of his forge and make sure the fire in the furnace doesn't go out by feeding it with wood that the men keep in the woodpile but he'll begin showing me other things as well. One of the men from our home taught him his caste and now my owner has his own apprentice but I'll be able to learn smaller things that big man fingers aren't as deft at doing" I gave a soft laugh as I easily placed a few more beads upon the string in demonstration with a wink at you. ((BRB my dog beckons me, which means my owner is thinking naughty thoughts about me! LOL))

I thought that would look nice, I'd already noted that my girl did not have pierced ears, so I would have one of the physicians in Minus pierce them after you finished making up the earrings, "I know that this is specialized work and will require some time to put together, so you can let me know when you have them completed, perhaps I could even collect them while you are visiting Minus."

says to ~**Lady Diamond**~The Je: I hear you talk about needing to do some smelting, and I had all the equipment in the Metal Works for such things, though on a much larger scale, "you are welcome to use the Exeter Metal Works, the furnace is kept hot at all times so that it can be ready to be used, and there should always be a few employees of mine in the building to help you find any piece of equipment that you are looking for. I do realize that the inside of the forge is too dirty for the fine work, but I have a small office in the back that you are also welcome to use, it is plain but furnished and clean." I say to you, excited to be getting something like that to adorn my girl, "or if you need something else to suit your needs I am sure we can find it in Minus." I did not ask you about the cost of the items as I was prepared to pay whatever your asking price was, or perhaps we could work out another deal with some of the gems that I have.
