I hold the brand in place for approximately the count of ten. I could see the brand forming on your flesh, bubbling up. My grip was like iron though, the brand would not move even a fraction of an inch while it was against your skin. Finally I pull the branding iron away from your flesh, watching you sag back down against your bindings. I push the branding iron into water to cool it as I look over the mark that I just made.

I then suddenly push the brand the rest of the way against you, smoke begins to curl up from your flesh where the brand touches, the sizzle of your skin cooking and the sweet smell of the burnt tissues. I hold the brand in place for approximately the count of ten. I could see the brand forming on your flesh, bubbling up. My grip was like iron though, the brand would not move even a fraction of an inch while it was against your skin. Finally I pull the branding iron away from your flesh, watching you sag back down against your bindings. I push the branding iron into water to cool it as I look over the mark that I just made.
