says to ALL: Christof consults the map, looking over it a few more times. His boss Exavier Exeter had diverted one of his ships, the Prince Caspian to the shore of the Northern Forest. Apparently there was some sort of hidden weapons cache that needed to be retrieved so that Exavier could use the items as part of the Exeter Metal Works. Exavier had accumulated these items as Ubar of Prison Moon Village and then hid them so that they would not be found. Christof checks the map again, he is a large man, from the North, huge long beard and long dreadlocked hair. They were on a small dingy, three of them having berthed from the Prince Caspian, an immense tarn ship to beach here, and then go into the forest just a bit to find the cache. THere was approximately 40 men with him, each of them armed to the teeth as they wanted to be sure they would not be disturbed during their search.

says to ALL: The first of the three small boats hits shore and the men all jump out, trudging through the thigh deep water and yanking the small boat up onto the beach where it would remain until they were done. The other two boats hitting the shore just after, all the men spreading out, several of them carried horn bows, arrows, others were using swords and shields. They were experienced as such things though and they were able to sweep the beach within a few ihns. Christof continues to look at the map that Exavier drew for him. He knew they were within a pasang or so of the site that he needed to find. He knew it was hidden well, otherwise someone might stumble upon it and find all the items. Exavier had buried his gold and other valuables in several other places, one of those places was a safe in the ruins of Prison Moon Village, but Exavier had contracted a certain old friend to see if he could find the gold there. A half dozen of the men stay with the boats, the Prince Caspian floating at anchor a few hundred yards from the shore line. The rest of the men follow Captain Christof off into the edge of the woods

is along the tree-line where the forest abuts the west coast
says to ALL: Christof knew that the weapons were hidden underneath an old logging camp, he just needed to find it. What better place to hide something than an old run down camp. He first sees the marker to enter the woods and the tree line, it is a large boulder that sticks out from the edge of the trees. The top of it extends into a point making it relatively unique. The group of now around 30 men begin trudging through the forest, they would not have to worry about leaving a trail as none of them would ever go back to this logging camp again after today. They would retrieve all of Exavier's inventory of weapons and then walk back to the ships. They all have satchels and other means of carrying the items with them as well. Christof has been an employee of Exavier for almost a decade now, he was recruited when Synclare finished the Prince Caspian and has been its captain all this time. They start looking for identifiers on trees here and there, merely a carved E in the trunk, something that would not be noticed by a casual passer by but was immediately evident due to the instructions that Exavier left with Christof.

says to ALL: Due to the instructions they knew that they would not need to go terribly far, they would just need to keep their eyes out for the markings. Finally after a few more ihns of walking they come across an old abandoned logging camp. They see that on one of the small outbuildings there is another E, it is not a huge building but it is noticeable. The rest of the camp is in disrepair, a soft carpeting of needles from evergreen trees covers the entire area, at one point a tree had fallen on top of the main building where the men working the camp would have slept. They did not need to get to that building though. The large group of men cuts across the camp to the small out building that has the E on it. Christof pushes the door open, knocking away some of the cobwebs and goes to the center of the building itself crouching down. He starts to wipe away some of the dust, looking for the metal ring in the floor that would lead them to the underground armory. The forest is silent, he men waiting for Christof's command, all that could be heard was the distant chirping of birds and the occasional sound of other wildlife.

says to ALL: Christof continues to wipe away the dust and other debris on the floor and finally finds the steel ring, gripping it in his huge hand he yanks up, the boards protesting at first but then finally breaking free, he pushes open the doorway and there is a small staircase leading down into the gloomy darkness. He calls for one of the men to light a few torches and takes one of them once they are lit. He walks down the stairs and into the room, it was large and still clean, not just dug out of the ground, instead it had rudimentary stone walls, which would keep out the moisture so that the weapons would remain in good condition for a long period of time. There was also ventilation on the other end that led outside. He could see the dull glint of the weapons and other materials as he walks in, they were all still there, and the hidden armory had never been flooded or anything else. He yells for the men to begin unloading the items and bundling them up to take back to the ships. He does a quick inventory to be sure that everything is still there that is on his list.

says to ALL: The 30 men move quickly, bundling each item up and then preparing it for transport. They wanted to get back to the ship as soon as they could, not really comfortable in the woods like this as they are all pirates or sailors. Within no time at all the underground hidden armory is empty and the men are starting to take things back to the ships. Christof makes sure that everything has been emptied out of the room and then he climbs out and shuts the door, making sure all the torches are put out and that nothing would make someone look twice at this camp. He then whistles and rounds up the men, heading back towards the beach again.

says to ALL: The men move quickly now, weighed down by all the goods that they retrieve. Cutting back through the tree line at the huge boulder and out onto the beach. The six men left behind are still guarding the boats, and they help with loading all the stuff the thirty men were carrying. Exavier had several such caches set up around the northern forest, but this was the one that he put all his weapons in when he left Prison Moon Village. The others contained valuables, but no weapons. The men quickly load everything up and shove off with the ships again. Heading back towards the waiting tarn ship, the Prince Caspian. As they reach the ship they use rope lines to draw everything up and then pull up the dinghy's themselves. Everything loaded they set sail for Brundisium where the items would then be taken by either tarn or kailla to Minus where Exavier lives and where his Metal Works is located.

says to ALL: I walk into the office, and see that Christof Achilles is there, one of my closest confidants and employees. I knew that the fact he was here was good news, he would not have returned from the Northern Forest without finding the weapons cache that I sent him after. I knew this would give me many different kinds of weapons that I could use for sale and would not require that I make each piece by hand. This would be useful for when I was contracting with merchants. I would not need to have each of the items hand crafted, and the list was pretty substantial. When I left Prison Moon Village I took all of the supplies with me and buried them in the northern forest just off of the beach. I grin and reach out to shake his hand, "Christof! My friend! I hope your trip was successful." He is a big man, I'd picked him up as an employee when a ship called the Prince Caspian was finished in Scagnar. He is torvaldslander through and through, big thick dreadlocked beard and hair. A much larger man even than me. I clap him on the shoulder, "you found everything and it was still in good shape?" I ask him and he nods, "Aye boss, we found it all and the men and I collected it and then I brought it here to Minus like you asked."

says to ALL: "Good man!" I tell him as I hold out my hand, and he places a rolled up scroll in it, the full inventory of what he found in the cache, everything buried underground in a brick room with ventilation for all these years, they were all still in perfect shape, and would help me have some inventory to work with for the time being. I unroll the scroll and look down the list, I look back up at him, "I had forgotten that I left some collars in there as well." I keep looking up and down the list slowly. I remembered when I took all of this stuff, leaving Prison Moon, taking it to the northern forest before I sailed back to Scagnar again. I did not want to take it there, I still had many thousands of gold buried under the house that I gave to Ruby and her new companion. I knew with the two of them living there none would get too curious about a vault underneath the cabin. I doubted I would ever go there and retrieve it, but well it was always there if I did need it. I also had the cache of gold behind that waterfall, perhaps pomme and I would go there some day to retrieve it. In addition to that, Vantes was trying to sift through the ashes of Prison Moon to find the vault under my cabin there, or what was left of said cabin. All told I knew I had over 9000 gold tarns out there somewhere, that were mine and that I had earned over the years, but well it was kind of fun to play a simple and poor blacksmith, though that was getting harder these days with all the things I needed to buy for the forge and villa. I tack the list down onto the desk and start to read them off one at a time, as they are unloaded from wagons and deposited in the small warehouse attached to the Exeter Metal Works. Many of these could be brought out to show in the studio too once it was finished.

says to ALL: I walk to the windows at the back of the office, watching the men that Cristof brought with him coming into the street behind the Exeter Metal Works with several kailla wagons, of course Cristof rode one of my tarns so that he did not need to spend all the time required for travel. He would be heading back to my ships tonight. With Omega Stormreaver otherwise occupied helping me run the Exeter Metal Works, Christof was left handling my entire fleet of ships. Which numbered six now, he would continue to run errands for me on that side of Gor, since Minus was so far from the water the ships were not of much use to me. My girl and I would be taking a trip soon to visit a mining town I'd heard of to see about a steady supply of iron and copper ore, or perhaps they would do the smelting there and just send iron and copper bars. We would need one ship for that, and Omega would get the chance to captain the Eye of the Beholder again for a little while. He was so much happier out on the open sea, but I needed him here in Minus and he would just have to deal with it.

I tell Christof, he nods, "well your map was easy to follow, there were no real issues with the whole thing, we got in, grabbed everything and got out. " He says as he nods, I reach into a pouch in my weapons harness and produce three silver tarn discs. I give them to him, "Alright, take yourself and the five men that you brought with you from the ships and have a night out in Minus on me, make sure you get some good food, a comfortable bed and a nice hot slave girl to warm it. I figure you can stay here in Minus for a hand or so and then get headed back, though you do not need to stay that long if you want to leave earlier." I drop the three silver coins in his hand and he grins, that was an incredible amount of coin for 6 men for a whole evening of fun, but I could tell that he would not argue, "you can even go by the Bath House, seems these southerners bathe all the time." I say with a laugh, Christof had not seen me since I cut off my beard and started bathing again, I knew that he barely recognized me when I first saw him, what with no lice crawling around in my beard any more.

says to ALL: I walk to the windows at the back of the office, watching the men that Cristof brought with him coming into the street behind the Exeter Metal Works with several kailla wagons, of course Cristof rode one of my tarns so that he did not need to spend all the time required for travel. He was so much happier out on the open sea, but I needed him here in Minus and he would just have to deal with it.

says to ALL: "well done my friend, I was not sure if you would be able to find it." I tell Christof, he nods, "well your map was easy to follow, there were no real issues with the whole thing, we got in, grabbed everything and got out. I figure you can stay here in Minus for a hand or so and then get headed back, though you do not need to stay that long if you want to leave earlier." I drop the three silver coins in his hand and he grins, that was an incredible amount of coin for 6 men for a whole evening of fun, but I could tell that he would not argue, "you can even go by the Bath House, seems these southerners bathe all the time." I say with a laugh, Christof had not seen me since I cut off my beard and started bathing again, I knew that he barely recognized me when I first saw him, what with no lice crawling around in my beard any more.

says to ALL: I slap Christof on the back one more time before he heads out with the men to have some fun this evening. I see that the warehouse is much more full than it was this morning, now I just needed to find a merchant interested in weapons, it seems the one I sold all my sea sleen pelts to went and got herself collared. I walk out of the office and into the alleyway behind the Exeter Metal Works, disappearing from view.
